Krill oil is a source of cardioprotective omega-3 fatty acids and phospholipids that is unique of its kind and in its efficacy. Krill contains the omega-3 fatty acids in phospholipid form, which significantly increases the degree of their absorption by the human body. Omega-9 fatty acids take part in the composition of the cell membranes, where they displace the saturated fatty acids responsible for numerous harmful effects.
