CYSTOP is a blend of standardised plant extracts, one capsule containing: Peonia lactiflora – 100 mg, Urtica dioica – 100 mg, Saw palmetto – 80 mg, Eugenia jambolana – 50 mg, Emblica officinalis – 50 mg, Glycyrrhiza glabra – 50 mg.
CYSTOP has a beneficial effect on:
- An irregular or absent menstrual cycle
- The symptoms of polycystic ovaries such as acne, obesity, infertility and hair loss
Peonia lactiflora – supports the normalisation of the hypothalamic–ovarian axis and of ovulation, an increase in progesterone, and reduces androgens and blood sugar levels.
Urtica dioica – increases the activity of the hormone-binding globulin and in this way neutralises androgens. It helps to reduce blood sugar through its action on the beta cells of the pancreas.
Saw palmetto – the extract acts as a phytoestrogen. It supports the reduction of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in three ways: it inhibits DHT production by blocking the enzyme 5-alpha reductase; it blocks the cellular receptors; and it helps the faster breakdown of DHT.
Eugenia jambolana – helps to lower blood sugar levels in women suffering from polycystic ovaries.
Emblica officinalis – improves glucose metabolism in the tissues.
Glycyrrhiza glabra – regulates the menstrual cycle and helps with weight reduction.
