Description

DEGAMIT S is a blend of standardized extracts with the following content per capsule:

Sodium citrate	300	mg
Zingiber officinale	50	mg
Ferula asafoetida	5	mg
Trachyspermum ammi	5	mg
Gardenia gummifera	2	mg
Piper nigrum	1	mg

DEGAMIT S beneficially affects:

• • Symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and vomiting
• • Digestive processes during travel or after consumption of unsuitable food
• • Stomach discomfort and vomiting caused by gastrointestinal viral or bacterial infections
• • Other symptoms of stomach discomfort such as heartburn, cramps, and abdominal pain

Sodium citrate – Relieves stomach discomfort and soothes the mucous membrane. In this way, it reduces the urge to vomit and effectively alleviates dyspepsia. It acts by neutralizing stomach acid — increases pH values and thus soothes the gastric lining.

Zingiber officinale (Ginger) – The active substances gingerol and shogaol bind to M-cholinergic and 5-HT receptors, leading to faster gastric emptying due to contraction of the stomach muscles and, consequently, quicker evacuation of the stomach contents.

Ferula asafoetida (Asafoetida) – Improves digestion by increasing the activity of digestive enzymes in the stomach and stimulating bile secretion from the liver.

Trachyspermum ammi (Ajwain) – Has strong antibacterial and antiviral action, effective in vomiting caused by infectious gastroenteritis. Extremely effective in cases of food poisoning due to its antibacterial effect against bacterial strains that develop in food environments.

Gardenia gummifera – Improves digestion and is used for stomach discomfort, diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea.

Piper nigrum (Black pepper) – Enhances the bioavailability of the other ingredients.
