Recommended daily dose: 1 capsule per day, in the morning.
DIAPRES is a blend of standardised plant extracts, one capsule containing: Cinnamomum zeylanicum – 200 mg, Olive leaf extract – 50 mg, Magnesium – 20 mg, Chromium – 40 µg.
Diapres is suitable for people with diabetes and in a pre-diabetic state.
Cinnamomum zeylanicum – water extract. The active substances in the extract are water-soluble polyphenol polymers. They have a beneficial effect on the absorption of glucose by the body and improve the action of insulin. The polyphenols stimulate the insulin receptors and inhibit the enzymes that suppress them, thereby significantly increasing the ability of the cells to utilise glucose. They stabilise blood sugar, limit inflammation, stimulate immunity and regulate the functioning of the nervous system. They affect blood sugar levels and successfully reduce insulin resistance.
Advantages of the extract: unlike ordinary cinnamon, it has NO undesirable side effects after prolonged use for medicinal purposes. It does NOT contain ingredients that irritate the stomach – oils and coumarin.
Chromium – Strengthens the anabolic effect of insulin by binding to the phosphorus molecules in the insulin receptors. In this way the infusion of glucose into the cell is accelerated (up to 100 times faster).
Magnesium – Magnesium improves nerve conduction and blood circulation. It takes part in the production, transport and function of insulin. It improves perfusion. Magnesium is of importance in diabetes and of the complications associated with it, including severe peripheral neuropathy.
Olive leaf extract – The active ingredients in olive leaf extract support the lowering of blood sugar levels. They increase the release of insulin from the pancreas, which is a necessary condition for carrying sugar molecules from the blood into the cells. Oleuropein makes the cell walls more sensitive to insulin.
