Cissus quadrangularis (cissus) – helps healing after injuries and traumas of tendons, cartilages, and ligaments, and also increases their endurance to heavy loads. It also beneficially affects the absorption of calcium. Calcium is one of the main nutrients that increase bone strength. There is also evidence suggesting that taking Cissus quadrangularis daily may reduce the risk of bone fractures by up to 40 percent. In ancient times, it was used for the treatment of broken bones and damaged ligaments and tendons. Its high vitamin C content gives it antioxidant properties. Therefore, it is shown to reduce inflammation, pain, swelling, and many other health problems caused by the inflammatory process. It acts sedatively on the nervous system. It has shown high effectiveness in reducing pain and inflammation. The mechanism by which the extract exerts its anti-inflammatory action is still not fully understood. Chondroitin – is one of the main elements of articular cartilage. Chondroitin sulfate consists of repeating chains of molecules called mucopolysaccharides. It is one of the most important ingredients of connective tissue (tendons and joints). It nourishes and lubricates the joints. It reduces symptoms and accelerates recovery from joint problems. The combination with glucosamine significantly enhances the effect.
MSM (methyl-sulfonyl-methane) – is an organic sulfur compound (a metabolite of dimethyl sulfoxide) and represents a nutritional source of sulfur. Sulfur is an important element for amino acids; it participates in protein synthesis and the process of forming connective tissues – bones, joints, tendons.
