Studies show that taking an extract of it daily for 6 days improves the symptoms of asthma for up to 8 weeks after intake. It has an anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating action.

Emblica officinalis fruit – Indian gooseberry (amla, amalaki) is one of the three most powerful medicinal plants known in Indian medicine. Amalaki is a powerful immunomodulator, a strong antioxidant and a strong energiser. It has antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral effects.

Piper longum fruit – long pepper. The piperine it contains has a beneficial effect in lung problems, including asthma, bronchitis and cough, and in vitamin B1 deficiency (beriberi). Long pepper helps to expel the mucus accumulated in the respiratory tract. In combination with amalaki it is used for anaemia.

Zingiber officinale root – ginger root, known for its natural antioxidant action.

Adhatoda vasica leaves – acts as a bronchodilator, relaxes the bronchi and has an antitussive and expectorant action. It is used for acute and chronic bronchitis (in combination with liquorice), allergic asthma, emphysema and tuberculosis, for the relief of cough and breathlessness.

Ocimum tenuiflorum leaves – holy basil leaves support the activity of the immune and respiratory systems. They contribute to the delivery of oxygen to the cells. They relieve coughing and have an antibacterial and decongestant action. Their adaptogenic and antioxidant properties are the basis of the immunostimulating effect.

Glycyrrhiza glabra – liquorice root has an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral action. It effectively affects dry cough in diseases of the respiratory system, and has an expectorant action. A strong immunostimulant.

Piper nigrum fruit – black pepper has antibacterial properties that make it effective in colds and flu. It relieves productive cough and a blocked nose. Black pepper is also rich in vitamin C and acts as a natural antibiotic. This helps to limit the action of free radicals.
