Active ingredient

Action

Foods whose digestion is supported

Amylase 7500 DU

Breaks down carbohydrates, converting them into simple sugars (e.g., glucose)

Bakery and grain products, rice, potatoes

Protease 4.5 15000 HUT and 3.0 15 SAPU

Breaks down protein molecules

Meat, milk, fish, eggs, legumes

Bromelain 500000 FCCPU

Supports protein digestion, has anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating effects

Pineapple (fruit and stem), meat, milk, fish, eggs, legumes

Lipase 1000 FIP

Essential enzyme for lipid digestion — influences the processing of triglycerides, fats, and oils; breaks them into simpler compounds absorbable by the intestines

Fatty meats, oils, nuts

Alpha-galactosidase 200 GaIU

Helps break down complex carbohydrates found in legumes that cause gas and bloating

Broccoli, cauliflower, legumes, fiber-rich foods

Cellulase 250 CU

Breaks down cellulose (dietary fiber) for easier digestion

.

Fruits and vegetables, especially avocado and peas

Lactase 1000 ALU

Breaks down lactose — the carbohydrate in milk — useful for lactose intolerance

Milk and cream

Enzymes are protein molecules made of amino acids, secreted by the body to catalyze biological reactions that would not occur under normal physiological conditions.

They are vital for the body’s normal function, acting as catalysts that accelerate biochemical processes while reducing the energy required for them to occur. Enzymes often work together with vitamins and minerals.

A lack of enzymes leads to poor digestion and low nutrient absorption, resulting in symptoms such as bloating, gas, belching, cramps, constipation, or heartburn. It can also weaken the immune system since enzymes—especially protease—play a key role in immune function.

After the age of 20, the natural production of enzymes decreases by about 13% every ten years. By age 40, this production may drop by 25%, and by age 70, the body produces only about one-third of the enzymes it needs. In addition, stomach acid production also decreases with age, impairing enzyme activation and digestion.
